Description:
As incursions from Magyars (Hungarians) threatened the Kingdom of Germany, Thuringian Duke Burchard, led a campaign against them. Burchard was killed along with Egino, the previous dynasty's heir. To eliminate competition and consolidate power, King Henry the Fowler banished Burchard's sons and what was left of Duchy was absorbed into Saxony.
