The major reset also removed the Lightmans Currency Mod, which had previously allowed Inostropia to manage its economy through a system of various coin types. With its removal, that structured currency system disappeared entirely. In response, it was decided that gold would become the official currency of the Inostropian Republic. Its value was defined directly by its crafting recipes, making the economy simple, transparent, and fully integrated into vanilla gameplay mechanics:

1 gold block = 9 gold ingots
1 gold ingot = 9 gold nuggets
