Description:

In 993 King Rudolf III gained the Burgundian throne. He attempted to seize his noble's estates, when he failed he looked to the Emperor for support. This was granted on the condition that the Emperor would succeed him as King. When he died Emperor Conrad III dissolved the kingdom and brought it's vassals into the empire.
