Description:

This book was written in order to resolve a number of clerical issues and disputes. The authors were strongly influenced by Lutheran ideas, and as such it emphasised salvation by faith and did not mention transubstatiation. Although Henry was unhappy with the book, he authorised its usage for three years before revoking it.
