Description:

On the Marvel-4, Ben Grimm, Reed Richards, Sue Storm and John Storm secretly launch to investigate the city on the dark side of the moon.

They discover Ivan Kragoff, abandoned by the Russians, having gone mad. While they investigate the city, he haunts them, wanting to steal their ship and return to Earth. He sabotages the crystal lattice that serves as a power core for the city to distract them.

While attempting to correct the sabotage, the four astronauts are exposed to waves of the Power Cosmic, which infiltrates their cells. Succeeding in preventing the city from exploding, they each are knocked unconscious. Sue Storm awakens, invisible, and wanders the city until she finds Uatu The Watcher, who tells her that she has been transformed, along with the others. With Ben's transformation into a large rock creature, they are unable to return to Earth via the module. Instead of leaving him on his own to go mad, they agree to remain in the city until they can find a solution to what has happened.
