Description:

1382年1月23日，明太祖朱元璋正式设立锦衣卫，作为直属皇帝的特务机构，负责侦查、逮捕、审讯、行刑等事务，权力凌驾于百官之上。锦衣卫成员身着飞鱼服、佩绣春刀，代表皇权行事，设有专门监狱“诏狱”。此举标志着明代宫廷监督体系的强化，也开启了中国历史上最具代表性的特务统治时代之一。
