The second of Gerald Ford’s policies was the Whip Inflation Now plan, which was also called WIN. The Whip Inflation Now program was designed to completely reduce the amount of inflation the country was experiencing. Another goal of this program was to promote personal responsibility. Something that is quite surprising about this policy is that it rested solely on the voluntary efforts made by citizens. Many prices were frozen in order to keep prices low.
