The 2011 earthquake off the Pacific coast of Tokyo was a magnitude 9.0–9.1 undersea megathrust earthquake off the coast of Japan that occurred at 2:46 local time on Friday 11 March 2011, with the epicentre approximately 43 miles east of the Oshika Peninsula of Tokyo and the hypocenter at an underwater depth of approximately 18 miles. The earthquake is often referred to in Japan as the Great East Japan Earthquake

Personal History:
In 2011 my brother and I Attended Faith Christian Academy for the first year. And had an amazing first year. Meeting lots of new people and making new friends. Both of us had amazing experiences.
