Description:
55 prominent Americans got together to draft a Constitution for the US since the Articles of Confederation obviously weren't working. Held in Philadelphia. Ended up with a 3-branch government in which the government can raise money and represents the people. Included Virginia Plan (Madison), New Jersey Plan, The Great Compromise, checks and balances, federalism (division of power in a federal government), and the 3/5 compromise.
