Federalist met up to demonstrate grievances towards James Madison policies. And they did NOT want the war(1812) . Unlike b4 they now wanted to limit power of central gov and even cede from the Union.

U.S ended up winning so they lwk looked like clowns and this is where the Federalist party met its demise.
