- showcases the negative examples but proves a bit of a failure because (idea is to mock the art for example abstract art like Picasso)

- this wasn't extremely successful as people enjoyed the art which was supposed to be ugly

- importance of classical art, importance of beauty of the human form and how perfect people should be and look like
- the art that is banned is abstract and mocks the human form, and isn’t obviously aesthetic
