Description:

- German Labour Front (DAF) was established in their place, gave Nazi control over workers

- Hitler grants unions the their demand to make 1st May a holiday so the day before (he makes them think he supports them then he quickly switches)

- the DAF was a state-controlled union compulsory for all workers --> so nothing about it made it a real trade union
- this was another way of stopping socialism spread of ideas in Germany
