Description:
- "Young Husband" was sent by Lord Curzon due to the Chinese and Russian influence on Tibet
Treaty
- The Indian government will occupy Chumbi Valley, i.e territory between Bhutan and Sikkim
- Tibet would pay respect to the frontier of Sikkim
- Tibet would not grant any concession to railways, roads to any foreign state
- Only China gained through this treaty as in Anglo-Russian Convention in 1907 provided that the two great powers would not negotiate with Tibet, except through mediation of the Chinese government
