Description:

The Seluids successfully lead Talizeya to two crushing victories over both of the great Udrizid armie sent to crush Eriandes' rebellion, killing the Hakal's brother in the process.

This ironically somewhat stabilizes the Hakalate, as the Hakal's brother was practically holding the Hakal hostage with the threat of pressing his claim to the throne and starting a civil war.

Nevertheless, the terrible Udrizid casualties and cost of keeping up the war force the Hakal to begin peace talks, and by the start of 1042, the Seluid dynasty rules over a fully independent and unified Talizeya - the first instance of Taliz independence in the last 644 years.
