Liyanu II dies at the age 78, having retired to his mountain estate with the Queen-Consort in 863 and left the running of the state to his son and heir, Tazmar III, since then.The Lichbreaker is given a full month of nationwide mourning, Tazmar III makes the day of his victory in the Great War of the Living Dead a holiday, and the church makes the day of his death a holiday in turn.
He is entombed alongside Esdar I and Tazmar II in the Obsidian Mausoleum.
