The March on Rome was a symbolic march in 1922 held by Italian Fascist leader Benito Mussolini. Around 30,000 blackshirts, or the fascist army, mobilized to the capitol of italy. They didn't truly march, but they moved into the area. On october 29th the King of Italy called for Mussolini, who then took power.
