feb 22, 1921 - Persian coup d'etat
Description:
The Qajar dynasty of Persia comes to an end with a mostly bloodless coup facing little resistance, with the help of British influence. The Qajar were of Turkish origin and has ruled since the year 1785, however, in recent years, saw struggling influence from both Great Britain and the Soviet Union.
Shortly after, the new regime signed a treaty of friendship with the USSR in which the Soviets would forfeit control over the nation (aside from military interference in "acts of defense").
