Hamas carries out a suicide bombing at the Park Hotel in Netanya, Israel, during Passover seder, a ritual feast to celebrate the Jewish holiday. 30 civilians are killed, while another 140 are injured.

Israeli forces respond by recapturing a portion of the West Bank, including the city of Ramallah, where Palestinian Authority is located.
