Schmitt, Ronald EvanThe last Apollo mission, Apollo 17 was the first mission to carry a scientist to the moon, they set up experiments to study the moon's surface and atmosphere. Apollo 17 provided insights to scientists on the history of the moon. This includes the discovery of orange soil. Eugene Cerbab became the last person to walk on the moon, ending the Apollo program.
