Description:

The new leader of the Kuomintang, Chiang Kai-shek, led an anti-communist movement against the CCP. This included the dissolving of the Shanghai Commune. This would eventually lead to a purging of Communists in Shanghai. This would soon lead to the beginning of the Chinese Civil War
