Description:
Israel holds off the invasions, maintaining control of its territory provided by the United Nations, as well as newly-obtained territory in what was to be the future Palestinian state. An armistice agreement is signed with Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria to end the fighting. Iraq also withdraws its troops from the fight.The "Green Line" is created, establishing new borders for the nation of Israel.
