There was something in the air and everybody was breathing it in. I saw, in front of my eyes, an officer's face ripped in half by some organic growth that came from his throat. Officers around me were dropping dead with the same fleshy growths protruding from their corpses. It was unlike anything I'd seen. When the carnage subsided, I looked up at the mushroom cloud, only to see it too was covered in the same web-like biology. Nothing about it made sense to me then. And it still doesn't..."
