Gaufrid, the leader of a barbarian tribe known as the Nakarans, sent a message to the Inostropian Kingdom expressing concern over its expansion. He stated that further northern expansion should be stopped in order to preserve Nakarans’ territory and independence. In exchange, he offered free trade relations. Opinions within the Inostropian leadership were divided. Consul OhioGlobus5404 supported a peaceful resolution and favored accepting the proposal, while King Dream12033 advocated a more aggressive approach, describing it as “establishing dominance and effectively annexing them.” Ultimately, a compromise was reached. Inostropia agreed to the trade offer and recognized Nakarans’ autonomy, while also designating them as a protectorate of Inostropia, allowing for peaceful coexistence under Inostropian influence. The response was delivered at the location where the message had been discovered: the temple in the center of the forum. However, a major issue remained, there was no evidence confirming the existence of the Nakarans or Gaufrid beyond this single message. As a result, the entire incident was met with skepticism. It remained unclear whether it was a genuine diplomatic contact or simply a fabricated message by a player.
