"Yeah, it can get worse. On February 5th, 2190, just about one year after the incident, despite humanity’s efforts, there were only 15,000 people left on Mars. But no fret, since another species has come to play! This species calls themselves the “Kaws.” The kaws are slightly more advanced than humans, and have many resemblances in their cultures. The only difference is that kaws have developed super advanced space travel, and it allows them to travel to planets even outside their solar system in the matter of a couple months. This time, the kaws decided to check out Mars. The kaws have studied Mars for a while, and have determined that there is in fact life still on it, even after witnessing the destruction the asteroids caused. They sent squads to Mars in a Development Society, (a world-running government competing with Anilous) funded project. Around 50 pods landed on Mars, each containing three kaws in a squad equipped with rocket launchers, M14s, ARs, butterfly knives, and other weapons. Of course, these aliens don’t call them M14s and ARs like humans do, and the guns are slightly modified, but for simplicity sake we will refer to kaw weapons to their closest human counterpart. These armed kaw squads started eviscerating all surviving life on Mars, and even taking some humans hostage for studying."
