aug 13, 2148 - Eruption Catastrophe
Description:
"On August 13th, 2148, there was a huge supervolcano eruption on Earth. This was called Eruption Catastrophe by the few humans on Mars. They witnessed the whole thing from the outside. Huge, gray clouds absolutely covered the Earth, blocking out all of the sunlight. From the point of view on Earth, it got around 100 degrees celsius colder in just a few days. It was pitch black, and humans were dying left and right. Partly from dust left over from the Eruption Catastrophe in their lungs, and hypothermia. Sadly, there were no survivors. But fear not, because the humans on Mars went into high gear on reproduction and development. The human species had a genuine chance at repair. Around 13 billion people died, with only 382 million remaining on Mars."
