First of all there are never enough words to convey specific emotions in these situations. Everything is under scrutiny and often misconstrued or manipulated to weave another narrative.
Oddly enough I heard about JD leaving FB3 on Twitter like everyone else.
At First I was stunned, But not surprised. Johnny is a magnificent, bright, rock & roll Comet which happens to have a chaotic debris field.
Sometimes if you're in his wake apparently things can get "messy".

He has only been absolutely lovely to me, and I will cherish the short moments I shared with him.
Hopefully the experience won't leave such a bad taste in his mouth and maybe in the future when the dust has settled & justice is found we can actually work on a project together again.
Obviously I still need time to process my thoughts about Johnny & after Having a moment to discuss with some producers & cast I still have way too Many questions.

All I can say is: It's COMPLICATED.
Only the two of them really know the truth.
HOWEVER I've been constantly asked to make a statement & I think the fans deserve some kind of transparency.
I absolutely condemn physical violence.
Especially toward women & children. I study martial arts & I've been in some rough situations but I never had to use it past high school. Knock on wood. There's always another way. Violence is a last resort for defense only.

Hey, I've been in some fiery toxic manipulative relationships in my time too.... & thank God those relationships were left back in my 20s. My tastes matured, I was able to spot the "wild ones" from a distance and I learned to avoid. And nothing ever came to violence. Just heart break. I hope Johnny can find peace & justice & take time to heal. To reflect on his choices. To strive to become better.
AND I hope WB will consider ALL evidence revealed about BOTH parties involved & they make an EQUAL judgement concerning termination.

To maintain solidarity. I hear there's a petition going around.
I find my 8 year old daughter often has non judgmental Buddha wisdom during these confusing times. She asked "why is Grindelwald leaving?" We explained as best we could & gave her the PG version. She absorbed the info and quickly said: "yeah...that stuff should be kept private" ...indeed. l love all you passionate concerned fans on either side of the equation.
And The show must go on.

We have a while for time to heal wounds by the time we get to 2022. And We're going to do our best to give you the Greatest movie possible. The people in charge really want what's best for the Franchise.
Who knows this might be the catalyst for MANY brilliant actors getting a chance at playing ole Grindy! We've already got Colin & Johnny... Just Like the JOKER! Oooooh! What about Jauquin?!

This is art. You're given a chaotic messy scenario & you gotta transform it into gold. Hopefully I'll have my dream of working with Johnny again in the near future. Until then we turn lemons into lemonade. & don't forget JD still got paid in full for shooting one scene. That's a lot of lemonade.

So PLEASE Let's put our collective perspective & energies towards, oh I don't know, saving the world, shall we?
