Macedon swiftly captured Oricum, allowing for Preparations for an invasion of Italy to begin. A majority of Macedons fleet would begin to rally here in preparation for the invasion. Rome would be unprepared for this attack, therefor they had never preemtively sent a fleet to Brundisium nor would they send a legion to Oricum.
