The Battle of Uhud was fought near Mount Uhud, close to Medina. The Muslims initially gained the upper hand but suffered a setback due to a tactical error. The Quraysh claimed a partial victory but failed to capitalize on it.
Muslims: 70 killed, including the Prophet’s uncle, Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib.
Quraysh: 22–37 killed.
