Description:

After the events of the Holocaust, the newly created UN had to do something so this wouldn't happen again. Eleanor Roosevelt led with the idea of a document stating all of a human's natural rights. This included the rights from the Bill of Rights, the Magna Carta, and the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. This included many rights such as everyone is born free and everyone has these rights despite their race, sexuality, religion, etc. The Declaration was written in Paris and supported by all of the UN except 8 countries that decided to not to vote.
