Italy soon joins the with Germany on the Axis after the success in France, Italy decides to join the War. Benito Mussolini was another fascist dictator that was ruling over Italy. He had dreams of remaking the Roman Empire which also led him to want a large portion of Europe. He allied with Germany and attempted to take most of Africa. This didn't go so well and left Mussolini as most of joke. Mussolini came to power due to his empowering speeches and promises of a better future.
