Adolf Hitler wanted to expand the German race and he would need living space to do it. He decided that he must take over the world. WWII begins when Germany invaded neutral Poland with the USSR. This led to France and Germany to declaring war on Germany. The allies reframed from declaring war on the USSR as this would have the two bordering each other and would force the Germans to have to fortify that large eastern border.
