Description:
With the end of World War 2 and the horrors that came with it, many people were ready for peace. Eleanor Roosevelt wrote the declaration which would protect fundamental human rights in an attempt to prevent such violence int he future. This declaration was presented to the newly established UN (new and improved League of Nations) where it was revised and adopted.
