It was a revolutionary microprocessor-driven digital music sequencer, which is the precursor to the DAW. You could enter in different notes into the sequencer, up to 5200 notes can be entered with its "immense" 16kb of RAM. It was a step to commercialising digital music production. The Yellow Magic Orchestra used this in one of their performances.
