jan 18, 1871 - Proclamation of the German Empire

Description:

As a result of the Franco-Prussian war and a decisive victory, the German states formed to officially become the German Empire. This is due to the November treaties of 1870, where later many states joined the north German confederation. The same day the new constitution was formed which extended the german federal lands, creating the empier.
