Description:

This war was fought by the second French empire and Napoleon III as well as Sardinia against Russia. In return for the territories of Savoy and Nice, France would aid Sardinia (Piedmont) in their war against Austria to gain territory. This ended in Austria losing, and Italy gaining the territory of Lombardia.
