The country of Laos sees a coup d'état which increases its political instability. JFK responds by deploying the CIA to recruit ethnic minorities to fight the instability and communist agenda. One of the primary groups targeted was the Hmong people who, by 1963, are being assigned to Special Guerilla Units (SGU). It is believed that over 35,000 (10%) of their population is killed during the war and its aftermath.Added to timeline:
