Description:

Isaac Stark dies of a heart attack. In his will, he leaves his mansion and the bulk of his private fortune to Nellie, expressing that Howard has his own business and needs no assistance, but that Nellie is alone and needs his support. Nellie returns from Europe as soon as she learns of Isaac's death, but her absence and inheritance alienates the two siblings, and Howard cuts off contact with his sister afterwards.
