"... until a resident of [REDACTED] contacted Minerva personnel and informed them that she was a former resident of the long-rumored town, and had some information she wanted to share in person. An interview with the former resident revealed that this supposed town actually exists under the name 'New Comstock', and that many of the rumors surrounding the town are in fact true; however, as access to the town is 'cleverly disguised' and 'guarded constantly', 'outsiders' who attempted to investigate in person have not been able to confirm or deny them. Although she could not provide any concrete reasons why, the town does not appear on any atlas, map, or satellite image (old or recent), despite the town being fairly sizable, with 'about 1770 people' living in the town in 1997. The former resident stated the reason for the town’s prosperity was tied to a 'yearly event', but was unwilling to elaborate on the subject, stating that even thinking about it 'brings up bad memories for me', and gave the agents a tape containing the above footage, stating that 'this should answer all your questions.' The interview concluded shortly after."
