ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
While en route to an unrelated task further upstate, Agent Sparrow drove through the abandoned town of Windy Sands, California, and would have gone through the town without a second glance had they not discovered mysterious holes in and around the area. As the agent was a few hours ahead of schedule, they stopped to investigate and find any possible cause for these holes and why some of them seem to align with damage observed on some of the town’s structures. Most of the abandoned buildings did not contain any information that could explain the presence of these holes, and the agent decided to check the abandoned schoolhouse before resuming onward towards their original destination. It was there that the above film reel (along with a couple other film reels not found to have anomalous content) were found in a classroom and recovered.
A comparison of the above footage with footage from other “Quakin’ & Shakin’!” film reels found in other towns in California revealed that the above film reel has information absent from the other reels, and this extra information pertains to a unique threat experienced only by the former residents of Windy Sands. It is unknown what exactly these “Burrower worms” are, how Windy Sands became their hunting ground, or how the California Seismic Safety Commission were aware of these creatures despite the town being fairly remote and sparsely populated at the time of the film reel’s creation.
