Being the first 3D Zelda game of the series, Ocarina of time sold extremely well, and by 2000, had sold 7.6 Million copies of the game. Ocarina of Time was the first game to introduce context sensitive buttons, which has become a common feature in adventure games, as well as Z-targeting.
