feb 26, 2011 - Nintendo 3DS
Description:
On February 26th 2011, Nintendo released the Nintendo 3DS as a supposed successor to the extremely successful DS line. The Nintendo DS consoles are currently the second best selling consoles of all time, with a total of 154.02 million units sold. Nintendo released the 3DS with high hopes, due to the new "glasses-free" 3D feature, which could be adjusted on the side of the console. Despite having this new feature, a wider and clearer screen, and a much larger variety of new games, the 3DS failed as a console compared to the original DS, the 3DS line selling a total of 75.94 million units.
