Description:

Socrates was a famous philosopher that is commonly known to have shaped Western philosophy. He was charged with two counts: corruption of Athenian youth and impiety (disrespect of gods). He was sentenced to death, yet Socrates didn’t seem to mind. He drank the Hemlock poison given to him and then died of paralysis later.
