Though they had long been an independent rival, the da'houei people were diplomatically integrated under house Mor'ti'quan. While this came as something of a surprise to the common folk of both groups, it was an act of forward-thinkingness from the Da'houei chief at the time who recognised their military inferiority and had been somewhat impressed by the very friendly (and threatening) house Az'la.
