Description:
On December 18th, the Army finished the process of decontaminating the Reston monkey house. The process of extreme steal, clearing off every surface in the building, scrubbing it with bleach, taking the paint and tiles off, and gassing the building. The building was then left with Sunbeam electric frying pans and disinfecting crystals to finish the job. The monkey house had been completely sterilized, the infected monkeys were dead, and no human had contracted the disease. It has remained unknown whether the disease was Ebola Zaire or a strain of Ebola due to its nature to not infect any humans.
