dec 1, 1989 - Publicity
Description:
The Washington Post publishes an article about the Ebola outbreak at the Reston Primate Quarantine Unit in Reston, Virginia. The public is now aware of what is going on! To lead the public away from the truth, the Army said that the monkeys had already been handled. They were ordered to wear civilian clothing while working around the facility.
The Reston Facility had also given the Army permission to decontaminate and clean one room on this day. Room H was cleaned and the monkeys within it were euthanized. While doing so, the military personnel were instructed to wear air-pressurized space-suits and to handle everything with extreme care.
