It is clearly visible that the 70-year-old Vladimir Putin, entering the fall of his life, is starting to finalize his plan, which has been planned for over two decades. It contained a long seduction of Western Europe and the US as to the democratic nature of the Kremlin team. Putin's seduction of Western politicians was accompanied by the temptation of European and American companies with cooperation and huge profits in Russia. Many of them - fuel, electronic, chemical, food, automotive - have succumbed. And these are large corporations, with considerable political power in their own countries - in recent years it has been in their interest to convince their governments that Russia is a normal, peace-loving country. This alliance of the cunning Putin with the greedy West has resulted in two Northern Gas Pipelines from Russia to Germany, arranged by Putin only to be able to cut off Central and Eastern Europe from gas, which he wants to regain in order to resurrect the USSR. Putin has made Germany a sexy offer: it will become the gas center of Europe by buying cheap Russian gas without intermediaries and selling it at western prices inside the EU. It was enough for Berlin to look through all the defects of the Tsar through its fingers for years. As a result, there are two roads in our region today: either building our own energy independence (which the Polish authorities are doing) or vassal submission to Putin's gas pipes (which was chosen by the Hungarian leader, for example). In the post-Soviet space, things are even worse: Putin's gas blackmail can sweep Lukashenka out and freeze Ukraine - even if he does not conquer it with modern tanks that he has built with the money Europe pays him for fuel. Democratic World turned a blind eye to the successive excesses of Putin and his soldiers: killing innocent people, poisoning the opposition, murder of journalists, wars, cyber attacks. Thanks to the stupidity and short-sightedness of Western leaders, Putin bought time and was able to modernize the army for more than two decades of his rule, and any small war - such as the intervention in Georgia or the occupation of Crimea, effectively disregarded by the West - was a training ground for him. After involving companies from the West in cooperation and seducing some of its leaders (after all, at the beginning of his reign every American president believed in a reset in relations with Russia), after entwining the EU with a network of economic dependencies, today Putin is ready to finalize his plan: to take over territories by force. which it considers due to Russia. At the moment, Ukraine is his main target. But is it the last one? Putin believes that the West - seduced and entangled for two decades - is no longer able to intervene because it has too much to lose: business in Russia, cheap gas, and peace - because which of the Western societies is ready for a war for distant Kiev ? For the time being, the West has been confirming this by its passivity.
