3 innovations/inventions - a coin system, The Mosque in Damascus, and The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. The coin system was made with writings from the Koran on the front. The Mosque was a huge architectural monument and also one of the first in Damascus. The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem was an islamic shrine to worship the Muslim religion and was located in the old Jerusalem.
Interactions between regions- Trade between the Indian Ocean was most prominent. One war that lasted a day was the Battle of Tours. Another significant war was the Umayyad conquest of Hispania. They were Sunni Islam, spreading this religion around to create a stronger empire. Their foreign trade expanded to more countries as a result as well.
