The creation of China towns started when Chinese migrants were coming to Canada. They were working on the Grand Trunk Railway. After it was finished the Canadian government didn't know what to do with them and put them in little communities called a China town.They commonly got killed and life was difficult. The first Chinatown was in Victoria, BC in the 1850s. Today, China towns are tourist attractions instead of places where people are scared.
