Child Labour (Kevin Ma) (8 März 1780 Jahr – 8 März 1920 Jahr)
Beschreibung:
People in the 17-19 century were poor so people would make their children work for money. A typical work day is 10 hours (7:30 am to 6:00 pm 6 days a week) with an unsafe working conditions, and they would make only $185-$245 per year. In 1884 there was a "Factory Act" that children under 12 could work in factories, but in 1908 the "Child Labor Act" stopped kids under 14 from working in factories. Between the 1870-1920 all the provinces made that going to school is necessary and ended Child Labor in Canada.
