This was a cultural, social and artistic time during the 1920s that took place in New York. This was a time when the African-American achievements flourished. The African-American people moved from the south to the cities in the north to build up new and better lives. During this time they started to celebrate the black traditions, the black voice and the black ways of life with a proud and nice way.
